Meet at the parking lot (comfort station) near Tipsoo Lake at 7:30 a.m. We will depart promptly at 7:40 a.m.
Expectations:
We will be hiking part or all of the loop at a leisurely place and will be stopping often to take photos of the wildflowers. With luck, we can also get good pictures of Mt. Rainier reflected on Tipsoo Lake. The goal is to get good photos, not to complete the trail in a given time limit. We will spend 2-3 hours.
Optional:
After we leave the Tipsoo Lake area, we may drive to Longmire and have lunch at the restaurant there.
Camping:
I have secured camping at La Wis Wis Campground for Friday, July 27th through Saturday, July 28th. I couldn't get a group site, but this particular site can have up to 12 people and two vehicles (additional vehicles can park in another area and pay $10 for parking). My cost was $48 that can be split by the number of people camping. The site number is 001.
Please let me know if you plan to camp with us.
