In previous years, this has been an excellent week for seeing the larches. While we will be hiking at a moderate pace allowing time for photos, please make sure you are comfortable with the distance and elevation gain. This is only suitable for experienced hikers and you should have hiked a similar distance and elevation gain recently. Expect chilly weather and poles and spikes may be required.
Meet at the Esmeralda Basin/Ingalls Lake trailhead at 8:30am. Carpooling is encouraged due to limited parking. Details will be sent prior to the trip.
