Leader's notes

This is a great trail in pretty good condition. But if you have a fear of heights, the Katwalk is not for you. Another note: I give myself a "moderate" leader rating: as I hike at a 2 mph pace and provide rest breaks. I cannot turn a "strenuous" hike (and it is strenuous) into a moderate one. It is my pace that is moderate not the trail. Some have been confused by this in the past.

We will hike up the PCT and come back down on the old Cascade Crest Trail.

Meeting place and time

Leader will send time and place in the welcome message. It will be early as we are hiking a popular trail on a weekday.
