From Battle Point Park, we will hike the Forest to Sky Trail to Grand Forest West, then the Hilltop Trail to Grand Forest East and loop back through Grand Forest West to the picnic shelter at Battle Point Park, where we will stop for lunch. After lunch we will hike the Fairy Dell Trail to a secluded beach. Restrooms are located near where we park and near the picnic shelter in Battle Point Park, and on the Hilltop Trail. No parking pass is required. Passengers should equally share ferry tolls, in addition to paying the usual rider fees.
Meet at 9 AM in the east parking lot off of Arrow Point Drive NE. Park in the dirt parking lot between the large children's play structure and the Park District's maintenance shop. The park is reached from Seattle via the Seattle-Bainbridge Island ferry, from north of Seattle via the Edmonds-Kingston ferry and from south of Seattle via the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, SR 16, SR 3 and SR 305.
