This is a rare opportunity to have both a wilderness and beach experience close to home.  From Battle Point Park, we will hike the Forest to Sky Trail to Grand Forest West, then the Hilltop Trail to Grand Forest East and loop back through Grand Forest West to the picnic shelter at Battle Point Park, where we have our lunch.   After lunch, we'll hike the Fairy Dell Trail to a secluded beach, and back.   Restrooms are located near where we park and the picnic shelter in Battle Point Park, and on the Hilltop Trail.  No parking pass is required.  Passengers should equally share bridge or ferry tolls, in addition to paying the usual rider fees.

Meet at 9 AM  in the  parking lot in the center, east side of Battle Point Park that is near restrooms and the picnic shelter, reached from Seattle via the Seattle-Bainbridge Island ferry, from north of Seattle via the Edmonds-Kingston ferry and from south of Seattle via the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, SR 16, SR 3 and SR 305.
