Day Hike - First & Second Burroughs Mountain
WTA: "...Burroughs Mountain sets right up against the northeastern face of Mount Rainier, hugging the Winthrop Glacier. It offers one of the most dramatic views of Washington's largest volcano; the landscape atop Burroughs is both broad and barren, so there is little to inhibit full exposure." Preference to Tacoma Hikers and Backpackers.

An early fall stroll at the base of Rainier, hopefully before Sunrise closes for the year. Mount Fremont Lookout may also be added, depending on group consensus and input - doing this would bump the mileage to around 11 miles and up the elevation gain by 500 feet, which would bump this into "moderate" difficulty.
