Bring your camera for all the magnificent views of Mt Baker, Mt Shuksan, Table Mountain, and Ptarmigan Ridge, as well as pristine alpine lakes. This hike is intended to be at a social pace where we can mingle and take pictures. Pics from this hike last summer https://www.dropbox.com/sh/pljc5473sfrdgi7/AADWOdF-TpGbbnndyddP3VFfa?dl=0

If you plan to stay at Baker Lodge (optional), please make reservation at least three days ahead of the hike to give the volunteer hosts opportunity to take enough food up to the lodge. Reservations at https://www.mountaineers.org/about/locations-reservations

To avoid the drive on the day of the hike, I plan to get there on Fri evening and stay the night at the volunteers run Mountaineers Baker Lodge. Nestled in the trees behind Picture Lake, lodge is a gem of a place at about 5000 feet elevation with views from every room, fresh cooked hearty meals, hot coffee, and hot showers at very reasonable cost.
