Basic Glacier Climb - Ruth Mountain & Icy Peak Traverse
Glacier Climb – Ruth Mountain (Women’s Climb | Car-to-Car) Mentored lead for Zuzana Regan Join us for a women’s-only ascent of Ruth Mountain designed exclusively for students enrolled in the BASIC Alpine Course. Completed car-to-car in a single day, this climb provides a real-world glacier objective within North Cascades National Park where students apply the skills they’ve developed throughout the course. Ascending the glaciated slopes of Ruth Mountain, participants will travel as rope teams, manage crevasse terrain, and move efficiently with crampons and ice axes in a supportive, all-women team environment. The straightforward glaciated terrain provides an ideal classroom, with stunning views of surrounding peaks like Mount Shuksan and Mount Baker.
