The goal of this trip is to tag Bacon and Canadian Bacon peaks on an overnight trip coming in from the east approach (which can be done early-season).  Ignore the trip reports on the Mountaineer's site; they are for the West approach.  We will be camping very high, within an hour of the summits, so that we get those sweet sweet views.

For this climb, you should be comfortable doing a little bushwhacking with an overnight pack and keeping a consistent (though not super fast) pace for a very long first day with lots of elevation.   We will not be going a million miles per hour, but it will be a good amount of elevation gain throughout the day.

The expectation for participants is that they come fully prepared for a little adventure,  speaking up during decision making, and generally being full members of the group.

This trip will be canceled if the weather is horrible (massive snow/rain/etc).

This will be a women-only climb and a mentored trip for Annora Ayer; all permission requests should go directly to her email: beetigerbear@gmail.com.   Include your conditioning for this year.  If your request doesn't include the relevant info, or it is obvious that you did not read this entirely, it will be ignored.  If you are a Basic student this year and this climb is before your crevasse rescue evaluations, you will not be allowed on this trip.

Specific times will be sent via email to trip participants.  Start location will be 48.646592, -121.432220, near Bacon Creek, off of Highway 20.
