Our itinerary:
- Thursday (optional): It is about 3.5 hours to Field’s Point Landing from Seattle. If you wish to camp the night before, Lake Chelan State Park is a 15-minute drive to Field's Point Landing Point, where we meet in the morning. The leader has reserved a site for 3 tents. If interested in sharing this site, email the leader. The cost is $12/person.
- Friday: Arrive at Field’s Point Landing no later than 8:40 a.m. to allow enough time to pay for parking ($7/night) and get our gear down to the ferry landing. Board the Lady Express Ferry ($26.50 one way), departing at 9:20. Board the bus that will take us the final 11 miles to Holden Village. We should arrive in Holden around 12:45. Hike 7.5 miles to Lower Lyman Lakes Campground (2,400 feet of gain). We will camp here for 2 nights.
- Saturday: Day hike up to Cloudy Pass and on to Suiattle Pass if we like. (5 miles round trip and about 1,000 feet of gain.) The views are worth it! Head back down to the Lyman Ridge trail and wander as far as we like. (Maximum 3.0 miles round trip and 540 feet of gain.)
- Sunday: Day hike to beautiful Upper Lyman Lakes and up to see the end of the Spider Glacier. (6 miles round trip, 1,300 feet of gain). Hike to Hart Lake and make camp. (3.5 miles, losing 1,700 feet)
- Monday: Hike to Holden Village (4 miles, losing 880 feet). We’ll meet the bus, which departs for Lucerne at 10:10. Board the Stehekin Ferry ($39 one way). Arrive at Field’s Point Landing by 12:30.

Leader permission is required. As of July 5, we have received so many requests, we will not be taking additional requests at this time.
Costs: The leader has purchased the ferry tickets ($65.50 total) and will need to be reimbursed by Venmo, Pay Pal, or Zelle within one week of acceptance on the trip. Add parking and gas (which you may be able to split if you carpool), cost for the bus (we are still determining this), and possible camping the night before.
Meet either at Lake Chelan State Park on Thursday night if you are camping or at Field’s Point Landing on Friday morning no later than 8:40 a.m.
