Backpack - Overnight: This will be a fun, easy-paced backpack to a beautiful mountain lake. It's 6 miles round trip with 1,300 ft in elevation gain. The trail goes up through forests, over several creeks arriving at a beautiful sub-alpine lake formed by a massive rock slide 5,000 years ago.

We'll meet at 9am on Thursday, May 17th at the trail head. From the Tacoma area, take the I-5 toward Olympia then US 101 N for about 50 miles to Hamma Hamma Rd. Take a left on Hamma Hamma Rd. and drive about 8 miles until you reach the Lena Lakes/The Brothers trail head.
