Trip leader has a 2-night reservation at the Tilly Jane Guard Station. Participants are expected to pay their share of the reservation cost before the trip starts to secure their place on the roster.

No tent camping is allowed at the guard station so the number of participants is limited to the building’s official capacity.

Tentative schedule

Mileage and elevation gain/loss will vary each day.

  • Friday: drive to Tilly Jane sno-park (about 4-6 hours) and ski the approach to the guard station.
  • Saturday: ski to Cooper Spur zone and possibly  do laps off the spur. Note: we will not be skiing on the glacier.
  • Sunday: pack up, ski back to the Tilly Jane sno-park. Drive home.
