This will be a strenuous tour in challenging terrain. Steep/narrow lines, tight trees, steep skin tracks/kick turns, difficult trail breaking, and variable snow are all on the menu. The expectation for ski skills is that you regularly ski double-black terrain inbounds at Crystal or Alpental, and the fitness expectation is that you can currently manage a <4h skin up to Camp Muir.
AIARE L1 and companion rescue are a hard requirement.
The plan for the tour is to head for Lake Basin to scope out N-facing lines.
8:30AM at the base of the Bullion Basin approach (46.93589, -121.47388).
