Alpine Scramble - Third Burroughs & Skyscraper Traverse
A strenuous, beautiful scramble of ~13 miles/~4800' gain to summits of Burroughs (3rd and maybe 2nd), plus Skyscraper Mountain from the White River Campground. More remote than usual with the late season closure of the road to Sunrise.

Various P&Rs to accommodate attendees, then 7am near the restrooms in the Glacier Basin parking lot within the White River Campground.
We will begin and end at the White River Campground. We will start by hiking the Glacier Basin trail, then turn NW on the Burroughs Mt connector trail to ultimately reach 3rd Burroughs. From there we will visit 2nd Burroughs, followed by a cross country traverse to Skyscraper. Finally, we will hike the Wonderland trail through Berkeley Park to reach Frozen Lake and descend to reach our cars at the White River Campground. Photos from prior trips can be seen here.
