Sunday, Sept. 14 - Leave an hour before or after dawn to ascend Old Snowy. (If the weather is beautiful, the moonset and sunrise are not to be missed!!!) Ascend Old Snowy over a permanent snow field, rough trail and 3rd class rock scramble. Traverse to Ives Peak via the famous arch. Descend back to camp via the infamous scree slog. Have a small rest and break camp. Don't make plans Sunday evening, just in case we're delayed, but we expect to be out before dark.
