Alpine Scramble - Mount Hinman/West Route

*Leaders permission required for conditioning and steep snow climbing skills*

We will be moving quickly on day 1 and day 3. We will summit on Day 2 and head back to camp and likely to a lower camp. to make exit on Day 3 shorter.

Please use mountaineers form to request leaders’ permission. Direct emails and leaders’ permission before registration open date will be ignored. This should not be your first scramble with the mountaineers. 

While requesting leaders permission - please highlight

1. Your recent hiking and conditioning in the last two months
2. If you have done any snow camping before 
3. If you are comfortable with an alpine start
4. If you are vaccinated and are planning to carpool 

As always in  scrambles, summit may or may not be the destination. This route is new for the leader, please come prepared to come help with navigation and trail break as needed
