The Big 3: Planning For, Assessing, and Implementing Effective Instruction - Online Classroom

Evening webinar workshop to practice skills and techniques to improve quality of your teaching with Ben Brown. This session will be online only.

  • Casual

6:30-8pm via Zoom Meeting
Meeting link will be sent to registered attendees on the day of the session.

This hands-on workshop is open to any Mountaineers member or guest who is interested in improving instruction! You will leave with materials, ideas, and plans which you can put to work in your lectures, presentations, courses, classes, and fieldtrips right away.  Please bring a piece of curriculum that you have taught or will teach; if you don't have something to bring, Mountaineers-specific examples will be provided for all content areas (not just climbing-- we promise!).

Ben Brown  has been a K-12 public school teacher for twelve years, and a volunteer instructor with The Mountaineers for five. He currently works as an instructional coach supporting teachers in the Bethel School District with effective, efficient, student-centered implementation of technology in their classrooms. Ben is ABD on a Doctorate in Education in Instructional Systems Design and Technology and enjoys supporting the development and improvement of teaching and learning practices!
