Join Meg Carney on educating and leading groups of all ages to ensure they leave the trip feeling empowered to make more sustainable and lower-impact choices outdoors. 

This presentation encourages attendees to ask questions throughout and may have some interactive discussion-type qualities. Throughout the lecture, the presenter will address relevant questions with a built-in 15 minutes at the end of the presentation for additional questions and discussion.

 Meg Carney is an outdoor and environmental writer specializing in sustainable product design and investigative journalism. After working in the outdoor industry for over a decade, her debut book, Outdoor Minimalist, is a compilation of her experiences, research, and expert interviews discussing how consumers and industry professionals can make a difference in the environmental movement through advocacy, action, and mindfulness.
