Beginning Hiking Seminar

The Beginning Hiking Seminar will review items to bring on a day hike, show examples of hiking gear, review how to dress for comfort and safety, what to expect on a Mountaineers hike, seasonal trail hazards, where to shop for equipment (and save money), hiking courses offered by the Seattle Mountaineers, and how to research your hikes. This seminar is designed to answer questions you, as a beginning hiker or new Mountaineer member, may have about getting started on hiking the Pacific Northwest.
