Equity & Inclusion Community Forum
Established in September 2018, the Mountaineers Equity & Inclusion (E&) Community Forum (formerly known as the E&I Working Group) is a space for people interested in contributing to The Mountaineers work to foster an outdoor experience where all people feel belonging. Administered on Basecamp, forum members opt in to receive regular updates related to equity and inclusion work, both within The Mountaineers and as part of the greater outdoor community. Anyone in the forum can share ideas, resources, events, learning opportunities, or calls for feedback. We ask members to participate thoughtfully, respectfully, and in good faith.
This work is based on our belief that a diverse and inclusive outdoors inspires unity, respect, and passion for the places we love. This is a reflection of our core values, which were written by our community. We are working together to build a Mountaineers where everyone can feel a sense of belonging.
