Meet at 8 AM Sunday at the Ozette trailhead, reached by driving west on US 101 through Port Angeles, turning right onto SR 112 (signed Neah Bay), right at the stop sign to continue on SR 112, left onto the Hoko-Ozette Road and stop at the parking lot at the end of the road.  A National Park Pass must be displayed by each car at the trailhead parking lot.

After using the restrooms and filling water bottles at the Ozette trailhead, we will hike three miles to Cape Alava, inspect the Indian Museum north of the campground, hike south on the beach to Wedding Rocks, where we have lunch and inspect the ancient Indian petroglyphs, continue south on the beach to Sand Point, take in the spectacular coastal view from atop a hill at Sand Point and then hike the three miles back to Ozette.  There are two outhouses at Cape Alava and two others at Sand Point.  On the drive home there will be the option for a meal stop at the Breakwater Restaurant in Clallam Bay.

Participants in this hike will have the option to share a campsite Saturday night at the Lost Resort Campground, which charges $25 per campsite per night and provides hot showers, a restroom with a flush toilet, a store and deli.  Check with the leader to participate in the campout.
