WHAT DOES THIS BADGE ALLOW ME TO DO?
This badge allows you to participate in trips and activities associated with Outreach Programs for The Mountaineers.
HOW DO I GET THIS BADGE?
You must first become a Qualified Youth Leader, read our Outreach Programs Handbook, pass a short quiz that allows you to demonstrate your understanding of our policies. Please note that this badge expires after 3 years. To renew this badge you will need to retake the Qualified Youth Leader training for Partner Programs and resubmit for a background check.
Note: In the event that your background check uncovers an incident that would make you ineligible to work with youth, we will contact you directly, and you simply will not receive a badge. We will not make this information public.
