Join us for the launch of Cycling the Pacific Coast: The Complete Guide from Canada to Mexico. Author  Bill Thorness will be on hand for a slide presentation, Q&A, and book signing. Snacks, beverages, and an introduction by Adventure Cycling columnist Willie Weir are also part of the fun. This free event will be held at the Cascade Bike Club headquarters in Seattle, located just a few hundred yards north of The Mountaineers Program Center in Magnuson Park.

Mountaineers Books has for many years published the most popular guidebook to one of the most popular long-distance road cycling tours in the U.S. -- the Pacific Coast route from Canada to Mexico. The older title (Bicycling the Pacific Coast, 4th Ed.) has now been replaced by this all-new book, which is  bigger and more comprehensive than ever.  Seattle-based Bill Thorness spent two years researching, riding, and writing this guidebook, adding section- and full-route itineraries, route alternatives, side trips, city  sight-seeing suggestions, return transportation info, and much more.

Cycling the Pacific Coast is the perfect companion guide for planning and navigating one of the most beautiful cycling routes on the planet!"
