Hiking

Our hikes are led year round by skilled and experienced Mountaineers whose goals are the safety and enjoyment of the whole team.  Hikes of all difficulties are available and we require the 10 essentials on all day hikes.

Backpacking

Enjoy overnight backpacking trips with a group of like-minded travelers.  We offer single and multi-night trips as well as an Introduction to Backpacking Course beginning each March.

Trail Emergency Preparedness

We offer an evening Trail Emergency Preparedness Seminar for those interested in brushing up on basic first aid. 

For more experienced participants, the Tacoma Branch offers challenging opportunities to develop skills in Wilderness First Aid, Wilderness Navigation, and Outdoor Leadership.
