There had been several days of rain leading up to the hike. It also rained during the hike. Wet leafy ground but reasonable traction. Would bring poles. Slippery on the stairs but able to walk on the dirt side of the stairs. Some pooling but able to pass safely. Part of the trail to the Beaver Dam is closed.
This 3.5/4-mile loop trail near Seattle. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 35 min to complete. You may need to be flexible (change route) due to the amount of rain coming in. We took longer to look and view the salmon! This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and trail running, likely encounter other people while exploring. We took a little side trip to look for the Beaver dam. Part of the trail to the beaver dam was closed.
