Trip Report

Intermediate Snowshoe - Roaring Ridge (Snoqualmie)

An Enjoyable and interesting snowshoe trip in the Snoqualmie Pass area

  • Road suitable for all vehicles
  • Snow conditions were a breakable rain crust.

The trip started on roads, initially along side a road groomed for skiing and then snow covered logging roads which took us to about 3500'. After leaving the road we worked our way up steep at times to about 4200' and the "West Bowl". We snowshoed up the bowl to the northern ridge which then followed to the summit. Note, there were a few spots in the West Bowl which got steep. Note I uploaded a GPX track to  https://www.peakbagger.com/climber/ascent.aspx?aid=1105660
