Mini Mountaineers - Seattle - 2020

Youth Program

Mini Mountaineers

For families with kids ages 2-5 who want to spend time outdoors together.

About Mini Mountaineers

Mini Mountaineers is designed to get kiddos ages 2-5 and an accompanying adult interacting with nature together, fostering a love for the outdoors in the next generation. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, babysitters, friends...let us do the planning to get you and your little one outside together with fellow outdoorsy families!

Variety of activities

Mini Mountaineers hosts a variety of activities every month including:

  • One small group in-person event every month during the school year! This could be a nature walk and educational activities at a Seattle park where we'll listen for birds, splash in creeks, look for bugs,...and enjoy being surrounded by nature! It could also be an adventure activity like climbing at the Seattle Program Center.
  • On the other weeks, we'll send fun family activities, like coloring pages, craft instructions, and scavenger hunts, to your inbox.
  • Do you have an activity you'd like to see? Email me at hannaht@mountaineers.org.

REGISTRATION

Enrolling in this course allows you to register for any Mini Mountaineers events, which are free of charge. In-person field trips will be capped at 5 Mini Mountaineers and their accompanying adult. Please sign up for just one per month. You must have a Family Membership or Guest Family Membership and complete the Family Programs Activity Form on your youth's profile in order to enroll.
