2016 Super Volunteer

DESCRIPTION OF ACHIEVEMENT

All of our volunteers are amazing and generous with their time. But there are some who truly stand out among this pool of impressive Mountaineers. The holder of this badge has volunteered their time at 15 or more "activities" in 2016. This may be as a trip leader, course instructor, serving in a position on a committee, or as a youth or stewardship volunteer. This badge focuses largely on those who administer and teach courses and run committees as well as lead trips. It pulls this information off of the many different rosters on Mountaineers.org (however, where it can be confirmed that 15 discrete episodes of volunteerism occurred, the badge can be issued). This badge shows a level of involvement in getting people outside that is SPECTACULAR, as well as a mastery and expertise of skills and content that is EXCEPTIONAL. It indicates a true dedication to the mission of The Mountaineers, which:

...enriches lives and communities by helping people explore, conserve, learn about and enjoy the lands and waters of the Pacific Northwest and beyond!
