Day Hike - Pinnacle Peak/South Trail

Trip will initially open to Tacoma Branch Conditioning Hiking Students.  Trip will open for registration to all Mountaineers, based on availability, 7-10 days prior to date of the hike.

On this trip we will do a double ascent of Pinnacle Peak to the lookout. Some like to call this a yo-yo. We'll start with the less steep South trail, tag the lookout, then head down the steeper Cal Magnuson trail and back up again. On a clear day we should have a view of Mt. Rainier on our ascent up the South Trail.

8am South Trail entrance. No parking pass required.
