Trip will initially open to Tacoma Branch Conditioning Hiking Students.  Trip will open for registration to all Mountaineers, based on availability, 7-10 days prior to date of the hike.

We will begin on the Glacier Basin Trail which has recently melted out.  Trip reports show a lot of wildflowers for us to enjoy along the way.  There will be an optional side trip on the way to Glacier Basin along the Emmons Moraine Trail to view a uniquely blue glacial lake that you can see from the main trail to the basin.  The side trip is expected to add 1 mile and 200 feet of elevation for a total trip distance of 8 miles and 1800 feet of elevation gain.
