Seattle MAC - Rappelling Workshop - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center

Along with belaying and knot tying, rappelling is one of the fundamental skills of climbing. This workshop has prerequisites, see leader's notes for details. AFTERNOON SESSION: 12:30pm-3:00pm

Make sure to arrive early so you can be ready and geared up by 9am for the morning session or 12:30pm for the afternoon session. 

For these workshops, there will be a morning session and an afternoon session to make sure everyone has a chance to come and that there is a good student:instructor ratio. Please pay attention to which session you are signing up for and make sure you arrive early in order to be ready to climb by the appointed time!

Prerequisites: All skills workshops so far including climbing 101 / lead climbing and anchors/cleaning routes. 

This skills workshop is a prerequisite for multi-pitch skills workshops and climbs, trad climbing, and glacier climbs.
