Strenuous North Cascades backpack intended for MAC participants with prior backpacking experience over Cascade Pass to Cottonwood Camp. Middle day hike to Horseshoe Basin.

Meet at 6:30 am Thu, Aug 4th in Seattle or at 8:30 am Marblemount WIC.

Prerequisites: Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course/badge. Attendance at at least 1 MAC hike throughout the year prior to backpack trip.

Students must have demonstrated fitness throughout other MAC activities and may be asked to answer certain questions to give the leader an idea of their fitness/ability/experience level.  

This is a strenuous and fun backpack in a spectacular setting.
