Mandatory Pre-Trip Meeting: Wednesday 12/16 @ 5pm (meeting info on trip sheet)

To be fair to everyone wanting to register for ski trips: Registration will open on Monday, December 14th at 9am and will be first-come-first served for everyone, including anyone who has already been on a trip this month. 

If you have not yet participated in a MAC trip in December, please email carlm@mountaineers.org and request to be added to the trip before registration opens. 

There will not likely be room for parent chaperones to join this ski trip. 

*****NOTE*****

Please only register for 1 outdoor trip per month, at first. If a given trip has open spots remaining in the final week before the date of the trip, anyone may register even if they are already registered for other trips.

1. Please indicate your experience level with back country skiing and touring. 

Prerequisites: At least 2 years of in-bounds skiing experience and ability to ski black diamond runs (not necessarily in good style) in any conditions. You must be able to get down the hill. 

Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course completed / badge. 

Avalanche Awareness Seminar (or NIKO) course completed and badge

Students will either need to have their own AT kit or rent one.
