Group Purchase of Sea Dog sail will be placed on January 6th

This workshop is meant to get a sail mounted on your kayak.  We have expert riggers with tools ready to run lines, tie knots, drill holes.  We hope that most - maybe all - of you will leave with a boat rigged ready to sail.  If something non-standard, it may take longer to complete, but we will help. 

The cost of this workshop includes the deck rigging necessary.  You must purchase the sail separately.  The cost of our recommended sail is $300 to $360 depending on options and shipping.  We will help coordinate an order. 

We are familiar with Sea Dog 0.8M (square meter) sails.  Sea Dog also makes a 1.0M sail which may be right for bigger people, more stable boats, or experienced sailers.  There are other models of sail, each with advantages and disadvantages.  See our deck rigging guide for more information.  We are quite confident we can install a Sea Dog during this workshop.  We will do our best to get other models installed, but there may be unexpected difficulties.  

• You must order your own sail well in advance.  Join the group purchase or arrange your own purchase.    
• Cost include collection of best practices deck hardware.  We will supply rigging. Since we will purchase the hardware ahead of time, we will not be able to reimburse  you if you cancel the class unless somebody else take your place. 
• Please put down your kayak make and model in the Registration Notes so we could anticipate problems if any.
