CHS 2 Hike - Skyscraper Pass & Skyscraper Mountain

MT. RAINIER CAMPOUT WEEKEND. We'll start our trek to this lofty summit at Sunrise Lookout where Klickitat (Mt. Adams) will greet us. Then, views of Tahoma (Mt. Rainier) will dominate the sky as we travel to the summit of Skyscraper Mountain! CHS hike led at a CHS 2 pace (2.0-3.0 mph).

We will meet after breakfast to leave the Ohanapecosh Campground at 6:30am. It will take about an hour to get to the Sunrise Point parking lot. We should be on the trail around 7:30am. Drivers will need an American the Beautiful Pass or purchase a day pass.

There is limited water sources along this trail. Please make sure you bring enough water or a water filter if its hot.

This is an exposed trail, so good sun protection.
