Warren/Wallace SIG snow overnight.  Students from other SIGs welcome with prior approval, but you must also attend the April 2 or 3 snow skills practice with this SIG.

NOTE, THIS LOCATION WILL CHANGE TO MT BAKER - ARTISTS POINT, BECAUSE OF PERMIT PROBLEMS AT MSH

 Basic Field Trip #5 - Snow Travel, Ice Ax and Crampon Skills. You will learn to:

  • travel on snow safely,
  • use your ice ax, 
  • descend by glissading,
  • use your crampons.
