Summit West Parking lot W6 at 7:00am for instructors, 7:30am for students. This field trip runs until 4:00PM

Basic Field Trip #4 - Snow Travel, Ice Ax and Crampon Skills. You will learn to:
- Travel on snow safely.
- Use your ice ax.
- Use your crampons.
- Descend by glissading,
- Hold a simulated crevasse fall, build and transition from holding the fallen climber, to building & connecting to a snow anchor (aka, escape the belay).
