This field trip will focus on introducing basic climbing class students to the basics of snow belays, snow anchors, crevasse rescue, traveling together on a rope, and snow camping. In the past we've been able to take other SIG students; check with the leader for availability closer to the dates.
Summit West parking area (closest to the freeway). 0900 for 0930 departure.
