Required Equipment

  • Harness, with the following, racked neatly on it:
    • Pulley Device on a locking carabiner
    • Chest Prusik on a locking carabiner (not a hollow block)
    • Hero Loop on a locking carabiner (not a hollow block)
    • Leg Prusik on a non-locking carabiner
    • Webbing for Chest Harness tied with water knot OR a double length nylon sewn sling; with a non-locking/locking carabiner
    • PAS/Double length nylon webbing/sling on a locking carabiner
    • Single Length and Double length runners/slings attached on gear loops using non-locking carabiners (one each - can be Dyneema material)
  • Runner/Sling girth hitched on your backpack hauling point with a non-locking/locking carabiner
  • Helmet
  • Ice-Axe
