• "Learning to belay" will be instructed by the Vertical World staff. Only gym staff is permitted to instruct in the gym.
• This activity is optional and not part of the Basic Alpine Climbing course. It is not a required activity for the SIG or the course.
• Climbing gym will ask participants to sign waivers and complete registration at the gym.
• Training will cover: Belay using ATC and Grigri. Bring your belay device if you have one. Checking harness and tie-in knot.
