Learn rigging for vertical and horizontal progression

Student Arrival - 8am North Plaza

Instructor Arrival - 7am

Students will spend the day learning and practicing a variety of rigging techniques, and putting into practice the vertical and horizontal rope progression techniques learned on day 1. The curriculum includes a variety of anchors, including natural anchors and bolts. Students will rig multiple types of fixed and releasable systems, and learn the application and context for each.

Required Equipment

All personal canyoning gear (*no wetsuits required): harness/hardware, helmet, canyon shoes if needed for ascending.

Personal items: lunch/snacks, water, sunscreen, water bottle, and appropriate clothing for warm weather. We will be in the sun most of the day.
