This walk will be during low tide so that we can hike on the beach and reach a shoreline outcrop of some local geology in progress that dates back to the most recent ice age.

Meet time 9:15 am at Rose Garden Shelter. (for a 9:30 start time)
NOTE: This was previously scheduled to begin at 8:30 am. Lara Linde has added a 2nd walk to accommodate the number of people on the waitlist. The new hike starts at 7:30 am, so this hike has been rescheduled to begin at 9:30am.
Required Equipment
Hiking boots and poles are encouraged because the gravel along the shore can be very slippery when wet.
