- Avalanche Probe (minimum 240 cm)
- Snow Shovel
- Snow Flotation (Snowshoes or Skis) Please do not wear skis if you are not proficient with ski travel up and down hill with a heavy pack
- Sleeping Bag
- Sleeping Pad
- Snow saw (Optional, but could be required depending on snow conditions)
- Avalanche Blue Book (Optional)
- Bivy Sack (Optional)
- Tarp Materials (Optional)
