Kitsap Hike Planning Meeting

We'll be getting together on Monday, January 14 at 6PM at Taste Wei in Poulsbo.  There will be a quick report on the Leadership Conference and Hiking Summit.  We'll be pondering trips for the 1st Quarter, and tossing ideas around for the rest of the year.   RSVP's requested by day prior...

Hikes of all types are welcome.  We have new members, people doing winter conditioning, and scrambling/climbing students.   I have listed Tin Mine on Sunday, January 27.  

 If you would like to list a hike and need an assistant/co-leader, please let me know.   

Lastly,  for folks who have not lead in awhile, the branch If you are committed to leading backpacks for the next few years and need to renew your MOFA/WFA certification, there is an opportunity for a partial scholarship.   

Going forward, if you haven't been active, the club is asking that volunteers assist in courses, volunteer on the board, and/or lead 3 trips in a given year to maintain their leader badge.   

Or if you  are on medical sabatical, or have switched activities and no longer plan on leading hikes, please let me know.    There are many opportunities in the club to mentor, educate, scout routes, or help with outreach.
