Saturday, April 17, 9am-2pm, Magnuson Park adjacent to the Mountaineer`s Program Center.  Meet in the Mountaineer`s courtyard with your kit you`ve assembled to date.  Rain or shine.

This is a "dry run" for an overnight trip.  At the field trip we`ll pack your backpack, walk a few miles with your loaded pack, set up the tents, filter water, run your stove, take a nap in your sleeping bag, review what clothes you brought, etc.  It`s the culmination of everything we`ve talked about in the lectures, Demo Day, and our zoom sessions.

Your kit/pack should include everything you`ll bring on an overnight backpack trip (that you`ve assembled to date), and a lunch that requires boiling water (you can make a hot drink).
