Meet in front of the Mountaineers Seattle Program Center with your fully-packed backpack promptly at 9am. The session will last approximately 3 hours, though it could go longer. This event will take place rain or shine.
This practice camp for Colin and Karen's mentor group will allow students to practice packing their pack, setting up their tents/sleeping bags, gathering and filtering/treating water, and making a hot meal. It's a great opportunity for students to try out their gear in a low-risk, practice environment, while also checking out their mentors' and fellow students' gear. Students from other mentor groups are welcome if space allows.
