The Snoqualmie Subcommittee of the Board of Directors of The Mountaineers has been examining various alternative uses of The Mountaineers Snoqualmie Property, near Snoqualmie Pass, including developing, conserving or selling. As part of that work two “town halls” open forums have been held, one in Tacoma and one in Seattle, to gather input from the membership. The Subcommittee will be conducting a webcast on the evening of November 12th, beginning at 7pm Pacific via a Webex connection.

Background: In October 2013, the Mountaineers' Board established a sub-committee to examine the future use and disposition of the Snoqualmie property that the organization currently owns. The property was purchased in 1948 and originally hosted a lodge which, unfortunately, burned down in 2006. This is the final of three meetings held to discuss the preliminary thinking with membership.

Please plan on attending if you have a comment, question or insight about the future disposition of the Snoqualmie Property.
