Nominate an outstanding leader for the Olympia Branch Service Award

Our volunteer leaders are a big part of what makes the Olympia branch  such an inspiring, fun, and impactful community. Join us as we prepare to celebrate their hard work and our broader Olympia community at our annual banquet in October. At this banquet we will be honoring one Olympia volunteer with the Branch Service Award, to recognize their hard work and dedication. To help with this process, we ask our branch members to submit nominations for those they believe go above and beyond the call of duty and deserve this award!

Think about your fellow Mountaineers and the impact they have had on the chapter. What activities do they participate in? What leadership and training roles are they involved in? What are their contributions to students and older members?

Do they mentor and coach? How have they inspired you or helped you reach your goals and dreams?

If you have someone in mind, we want to know! Please submit their name to Dixie Havlak by August 15. With your nomination, please include:

  • Why you have nominated this person
  • Why they are an outstanding leader
  • What they do that is above and beyond the call of duty

Our selection committee is comprised of the three most recent service award recipients. This year, Dixie Havlak, Tom Eckhout, and Will Greenough will be choosing the 2019 Service Award recipient.
