Meany Lodge Welcomes Dog Sled Team

Dog lovers rejoice! On certain winter weekends in 2023, a dogsled team from Northwest Dogsled Adventures will replace the Sno-Cat to provide transportation to and from Meany Lodge.

Chuck Welter, Meany Lodge chair, is enthusiastic about the canine team. “We know that this is an ancient technology, but frankly so is our Sno-Cat. And the dogs are so cute!”

Be sure to book in advance as this new option is sure to be popular! Check the webpage and the calendar for Meany Lodge’s upcoming events and reservations.

Happy sled dog

April Fools, woof!

Meany Lodge is The Mountaineers oldest winter sports resort, located approximately 60 miles east from Seattle off I-90 near Stampede Pass and surrounded by the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Meany Lodge provides a warm family environment for all. It is home to the fastest, longest, legally-operated rope tow this side of the Mississippi (17mph, what?!?). But, sadly, no sled dogs…. YET!
