Make an Impactful Difference in 2023

The Mountaineers would not be the same force for outdoor inclusion, leadership, and conservation without the support of members like you. Your year-end donation will make an impactful difference in 2023.

I know it's a busy season, so I will get straight to the point: we need your help to raise $200,000 by the end of this month so that The Mountaineers community can go farther in 2023. If you have found value in programs or books at The Mountaineers, will you consider making a donation this holiday season?

Yes, I've been meaning to!

Once you’ve been at The Mountaineers for a few seasons, you start to notice we’re much more than a place to learn skills, meet friends, and get outside. We are a community of advocates, nature lovers, and lifelong learners who want the outdoor experience to be inclusive to everyone and protected for future generations.

We are a resource for world-class outdoor education in the Pacific Northwest … and donor-funded scholarships help ensure that anyone can learn skills, regardless of ability to pay.

Our activities help people of all backgrounds have meaningful outdoor experiences … and donor-funded conservation and advocacy work gives our community voice to help protect our natural world.

Our incredible volunteers give generously of their time and skills to foster a better prepared and more inclusive outdoor community … and donor-funded recognition and training empowers better leaders.

Your donation will also:

  • Empower youth across the Puget Sound with experiential outdoor education
  • Reduce our collective carbon footprint through energy upgrades and member education
  • Provide advanced skills training to retain our most committed and talented volunteer leaders
  • Reach a broader audience and amplify stories of all voices in the outdoor community through  nonprofit publishing
  • Break down financial barriers and reduce waste through a Gear Library

The Mountaineers would not be the same force for outdoor inclusion, leadership, and conservation without the support of members like you.

Thank you for considering a year-end donation. I’m excited for what your support will make possible in 2023!
